I got my exam results back to day.
So excited and happy, I'm pleased with my results.

English: Two "A"s
German: One "A+" and one "A"
Maths Methods: "A+" (my highest score at 97%)
Physics: "A"
Chemistry: "A"

With my results, I'm applying for the Melbourne Uni extension program.
If I am successful in my application, I can do a first year uni maths course when I'm in year 12.
The prerequisites for this course is A+/A for maths methods, and B+ average across all other subjects.

So happy.......

something to do with chemistry, it started with emperor, then it had a ending on it like ism or somthing like that
and the math exam was quite hard, unlike the 2003 and 2002 ones that i did for practice

no, I'm in victoria
So it's VCE exam for me.
I did well on my mid year and school assessments, so i'm not worried.
I got A+ on both my mid year exam and school assessments.

Year 11 exams are underway right now.
Finished my english exam on monday (7 pages of essay in 2 hrs).
Today I had chemistry, which was easy.
Tomorrow I have maths methods exam.
And on friday I have german and physics exam.
I don't care much about physics cause I'm going to drop it next year.

Yes, good luck with all the exams and the results!

Don't stress out about the results. The HSC is not a life or death situation. Not achieving the mark you dreamed of does not mean you can't get into what you think you want to get into. You can always transfer from one degree to the next, and heck, there are plenty of people who didn't get into their first choice, and discover that they actually love what they did get into. Besides, I know plenty of people who DID get into their first choice, and still end up hating it!

Work hard to achieve what you want, but don't beat your brains out if you didn't.

Good luck with all the exams to come, and party hard afterwards!

Yea. . .good ol HSC(not)
I did mine last year for adv eng, art, physics, legal studies, 3-4u maths.
I feel sorry for the people who are doing their hsc..all the stress and the overhype.

I remember i wasnt stressed for the hsc exams because i got sick and tired of stressing ]:| and all the pressures.
But i remember the feeling afterwards was sheer bliss.

the bottom line is u reap what you sow. full stop.

ps: I got my law exam comming up very soon and im FREAKING OUT! *we are not alone*

That's a good way to be I think Gomer - at high school they really do put a 'do or die' pressure on you about final exams...but I have numerous friends who didn't even finish high school and who are now at university. I didn't do as well as some in senior year (OP 9 - which means nothing to people outside of Qld, but suffice to say there is a system that goes from OP 1 to 25, 1 being highest), but now I'm doing post-grad at uni and well on my way to a 'first' that will probably allow to get a scholarship for a PhD later on. So good on you for not letting all that high school hype get you down!

Well the exams are over for this week but just wait there are always more next week . I am begining to believe that the further people go in there education the less simple stuff they remember aka spelling, counting, adding.... i know that i cant even count the number of carbon atoms on a chain anymore but ask me to differentiate something with multible variables and im good to go. now its time to zone out and watch tv till i have to study for my biology exam on tuesday (darn photosysnthesis, mitosis and meiosis )
