The snake will be eaten so that is not the way to go. A BB gun will just tick them off (friend is a cop) tried this on one of his jobs. You gotta go for the real deal. We have these here in Texas also, we refer to them as NutraRats, and they are huge. I don't know about the rat poison making them bigger, but I wouldn't doubt it. For those who haven't seen them they look like small dogs, not tea cup poodles, those are too small, but pug size. The only way I know of to get rid of them is A. Shoot them with a real gun, B. Run over them in a vehicle (bigger the better) C. Tazer gun them...that is the only way I know to get rid of them. Do not approach them too closely, as they will chase you and bite you, then you will be really sick...Best of luck, those are my only solutions, Heidi
