I like the first one as well.

It has the most child / landscape ratio.

For a painting, I would trim the right a little.

im an artist myself, definatly go with the first one, the only thing is make sure that she is not smack dab in the middle of the portrait, it devides the canvas, which is bad obviously

I think the first one would be best. Very cute pictures by the way. Actually in terms of a portrait, you could put her in the middle, for some things (portraits, paintings of formal gardens, etc), symmetry is A-OK. There are some times you want to avoid it though (natural landscapes, city skylines, etc.)... My advice from experience with art...
