Nah one rabbit would last a while, I'd imagine. And they breed like... well, rabbits.

I have a bunny, and I love him very much. But I think that your snake is gorgeous. I'd love to have one but couldn't feed it things like that

ya shoulda named him "Fluffy" or "Cuddles"...not the rabbit...the snake...

actually, mrs moondog came up with "norman" after norman bates, because he acted "psycho" before i built the cage he's in right now. i was fine calling him "the snake" since i know he'll never respond to anything i call him anyway unless he's hungry.....

Nice snake, Moondog!

The pictures aren't really gross or graphic at all, so it seems like it would take someone who gets queasy at the sight of dog poo or a small cut to be offended by these pictures.

I own rabbits as well, but I think these pictures are really cool.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

Hmmm That is exactly the same size as the red tail my mate made me pass up] it was for free]

Nice pics Moon.

Whetu, The red tail is known for being one of the more docile boas.

Hello Norman! He's even prettier in real life, and he let me share his bedroom. He didn't even try to squeeeeeeeze the life out of me in the middle of the night, and for that I shall be eternally grateful.

I liked your lead-in to this thread moondog... I must admit I scrolled down the page very slowly, wondering if I was doing the right thing, but I didn't get grossed out at all. hmmm... maybe I'm toughening up in my old age...

since this was the general consensus by a 4 to 1 margin, here are the pics i said i would put up when i got some good ones. i will say that if you are easily grossed out or otherwise have a problem with slightly (or somewhat) graphic pictures that i will post no pics in the first post so that we can have a slight lead in for people who don't want to see the pics at all, but who for some reason came here thinking they were going to get something besides a snake eating a rabbit

i hope this is enough space...

the snake is a red-tail boa, he's about 8ft long right now.

and gomer, if you can make it over here, you are more than welcome to stay as long as you're not allergic to cats & dogs

ok, here are the pics of my snake eating a rabbit. it was slightly bigger than he normally handles, but he did fine getting it down.
