Apparently the food near the filter is always more tasty than the stuff floating free. I gather this is especially true for pellets behind the filter inlet.

This remains a mystery to me, a mere human.

My Pandas seem to know how to chase each other around the aquarium during spawning without colliding with solid objects. At speeds that result in them being red shifted when I watch them

However, some of the males do not seem to know that they will get very strange looks from the rest of the aquarium inmates indeed if they attempt to adopt T positions with Lemon Tetras.

However, they do seem to know that it makes me fall out of my chair laughing. And seem to enjoy the spectacle.

it is amazing the speed and agility certain fish have in given conditions
my mbuna swim at speeds in which there jsut mere blurs but go through the 80 or so caves n catacombs i have made out of rock with out ever touching them

and also how my piranhas will trim the vegitation to there ambush likings

another thing is how fish recognize ppl
my mbunas will come to the corner n splash water at the surface when my g/f walks into my room becuz they know she will feed them again where as i feed them morning midday n at night and they seem to know no matter how much they beg i wont feed them more
the same is similar in my eels n piranhas they will come out when i watch them but hide when ever someone else is around

these r jsut a few examples of how my fish behave that is unique to me

I must agree with Cali...It is amazing how my Dainty Corries can swim the length of the tank 72x their length in less time than it takes me to blink. That schooling with everyone else in the tank is wonderful even if they aren't a Dainty...

That my mbunas can clear the space under one rock to create yet another tunnel where I as a mere human had no idea there was room. How they can tell which direction they are supposed to swim through a hole that won't allow them to fit through the other way.

How my neons would try to school the guppies when they were in the tank with them. How the guppies would assume mating with a neon was appropriate.

Oh one last one...They know the minute I go to sit down to enjoy plenty of time watching them, they suddenly find hiding places that noone could ever find them in:%)
