I also heard the entire cast had to spend a period of time living in the 1800's - so to speak. You know, make their own clothes, scythe down some wheat, grow some veggies, and what not. Check this out - The blind girl's dad owns the "nature preserve." He used his rich father's money(probably inherited) to put the land aside for the "experiment."
