Hey Acid Rain - I think you've got a great idea. Nice wheels by the way.. Dually? You might find it missing because I might "trade" for it while you're in the restaurant and leave you my Escape... looks like yours would do a better job of pulling a horse trailer than mine!

Erm... Marc, Jason... I thought the plan was to meet at Aquarium Adventure THEN go eat. Ok, here's the deal *brings female logic into it* The 3 places we want to go are: Texas Roadhouse, Aquarium Adventure, and GCAS. *thinks out loud* Obviously GCAS is last, AA is in Mason, and the roadhouse and the meting are in closer proximity to each other. SO, rather than go to Cincinnati Mills to eat, then go down to Mason, then retrace out steps, doesn't it seem logical to go to the store first, then eat? Besides, who wants to eat dinner at 3 PM? With the meeting being at 7, allowing for crowd @ Texas Roadhouse (since it's a Sunday night), and travel time, let's see... we should probably plan on meeting at 3:00, like you said. Does that work for everyone? Ooo, afterthought... does the Roadhouse take reservations? We could get a final count and make one.

Kendra, are you and Rebecca planning on coming? Let us know!

If we meet at Aquarium Adventure, let's plan on parking by their company van. It's white and has the green and blue logo on it. They always park it far back, obviously, so it'd be easy to find each other. In case it's not there, we can just go straight back from the store, where it's pretty empty. Jorge and I will either be in a white Chevy lumina or a white Toyota Corolla. My Lumina has a white butterfly sticker on one of the back side windows, the Corolla has a dragon window clingalong the top of the windshield.

Another afterthought... will anyone mind if I take a couple pics of us and post them here? I'd like to take the pics regardless, but I won't post them on the site if someone's opposed.

Texas Roadhouse doesn't take reservations, but they do take call ahead seating. So we could call around the time we meet together (anyone got a cell phone?) to see if they're on a wait and if so go ahead and put our name in and then we'll know how much time we have.

Meeting at 3 should be fine. One question though...if I remember right you guys are an hour behind us here in IN so we'd be meeting at 2 my time. something we need to figure out so I'm not an hour early or late. This has happened to me twice going down to Louisville...once I was an hour late cause they're an hour behind us, but next time I went down there I took this into account however I didn't know they observed daylight savings time and were then on the same time. :%)

Hi Dani - yes, I'm going to show up and hang with you guys/gals. I'm close to Lafayette and sent Superlion a PM offering a ride if interested.

I also will be watching the thread because of Jason's post about time differences. I just need to know if we're talking EST or Central time. LOL! Since I don't know any of you guys, I'll keep checking back for the latest info on meeting places and who drives what. Like anyone will remember, but I drive a charcoal-gray Ford Escape with Illinois plates.

I think it's a great idea to take pics and am not opposed to a posting. Someone asked if anyone has a cell phone. I have one and a day or so before the meeting, I will ask if someone else in the group could trade numbers by private mail in case I get lost!

for what it's worth, I'll either be driving a '91 black Honda Accord 4 dr or a '94 Tan Ford Thunderbird. All depends on if the T-bird is fixed by then. It's been at the shop for over a year awaiting a new engine. It's actually being worked on now so I may get it back before the meeting.

I have a cell phone and I have free long distance, free in network calling if any of you have Verizon, and free nights and weekends. I'll PM all of you my number.

OK, what if I don't want to drive all the way over to AA? lol. Remeber, I live right around the corner from the place that the meeting is held, and I am only about a mile form Roadhouse. After all, I have been to AA so many times, I would just be bored, I have been there twice in the last week, and four times in the last two weeks, dang wrong parts, lol.

I could just go ahead and get a table for us and have it ready when you all get there, at the Roadhouse. You all can meet at AA, and then meet up with me at Texas Roadhouse. I am sure you will not have any problems finding my truck;

As it is hard to miss, probably be the biggest one in the parking lot. lol. Does this sound good? You can give me a call about 1/2 hour before you are leaving. That way I can go there and have the table by the time you arive. [/font]

So. I have it sort of figured out. If I can make it, I'll have a ride from Kendra. The deciding factor is this: There is a women's conference this weekend with my organization. I would like to go, but I would REALLY like for freshmen to go because I know it'll be a good experience. So. If any of the freshmen I know want to go but can't because of the money, I will pay their way and not go myself, and then I can come to Cincy. But, if nobody will make the excuse of not having the money, I will go myself and you will not see me there. Nice how sometimes decisions can make themselves, sort of. Wish all of life could be that way.

It sounds to me like there are just a lot of people in the Ohio area in general. I myself am in Northern Ohio, but there is an Aquarium Adventure store in Cleveland as well. Awesome place!

Looks like I am going to the retreat instead guys. All the girls who said they weren't going had schedule conflicts... nobody couldn't afford it. So, have fun Kendra without me (I know you will), and I will try to make it next time if there is a next time!

for the record, I was in chat with ACID the other day and asked him what time it was there. it was the same time over there as it is here so Kendra should be on the same time as well. If we both wind up an hour late then ACID is to blame.

Hi Everyone... I'm not going to be able to make it today. I got called in to work late Friday evening for a project that is taking a while to finish. I still have to meet with my clients today to review. I was hoping I'd get sign-off from my main client early enough today to still get on the road in time. It's not going to happen. You guys all have a great time and keep me posted the next time something is planned. And tell Jason the Vieja Synsp. he gave me is doing very well!

Dani, yeah I looked up directions for Aquarium Adventure so I (hopefully) know how to get there. I'm about to start getting ready and get on the road. Usually takes me about an hour and a half to get to Cincy from here, but I'm going to try to leave at 1 just to be safe. See you in a bit.
