You could wear it like a hat.

Good luck with the bettas.

these are common green anoles, 8inch is a very large one, but full grown anoles also have really whip-like tails

Say 5 inches including the tail. Although they are suggested for tanks of at least 20 gallons, most people keep them in ones as small as a 10 gallon. I guess 5 might be pushing it though. So, this really doesn't help zebra. I'm just wondering what kind of lizards daka has.

is that including the length of the tail though? and also, anoles love to climb, meaning they would prefer a taller tank

"anoles wouldn't work in a tank that size, they get 5-8" long"

What kind of lizards are you keeping???

I've only seen ones in the petstore that are 3 - 5inches long. I know they have bigger ones down in Florida, like the knight anole, but I've never seen a common green anole over 5 inches.

Mine is something of a paludarium for fiddler crabs, very entertaining little creatures

anoles wouldn't work in a tank that size, they get 5-8" long, and they need a taller tank with plenty of climbing room, i'd personally go with a spider of somesort, or an emperor of flatrock scorpian

But just in case your not sure about bettas, a 5 gallon would still be good for ADFs, a tarantula, a scorpion, a pair of anoles, a pair of long-tail lizards, or a pair of house gekos. I mean, come on, everyone breeds bettas. How many people do you know that keep pet scorpions?

oh wait, 5 gallon?
I was thinking bigger, I don't know why. Most of my choices are for 10 - 20 gallon tanks, my bad.

Bettas are nice, but so are some different kinds of reptiles...

I loved red-bellied newts when I kept them, but also albino frogs and freshwater crabs are interesting.
