My tastes are wide-ranged but exclude most of the pop / teenybopper / 10-weeks-atop-TRL crap.

A small sampling of the artists in my CD collection - metallica, Nirvana, ACDC, GNR, Def Leppard, Korn, Phish, Cake, Kid Rock, Enya, Busta Rhymes, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Woody Herman, The Modern Jazz Quartet, Count Basie, Chuck Mangione, Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Stan Getz, Spyro Gyra, Various Soundtracks (by James Horner, Howard Shore, John Williams, and a few others), Tim McGraw, Sublime, Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, about 5 or so Celtic-style new age cds, David Lanz, Michael Gettel, Pink Floyd, Fuel, Alice in Chains... and quite a few more that I can't remember.

i will listen to anything and everything as long as it's well done and not just some pop-music phenom. my collection ranges from classic rock to country to classical to "oldies" to just about anything under the sun that just plain "sounds good".

I have such a wide range of what I like, it's hard to say.
Some of them include Jackie Wilson ( your love keeps lifting me), AC/DC , metallica, Anita Ward, Buffalo Springfield ( stop, hey, what's that sound...), Credence Clearwater Revival, George Clinton and the Parliment Funkadelics, Beyonce, Outkast, Charlie Daniels, Hank Williams Jr., ......I could keep on going and going. Hard rock, heavy metal, disco, R&B, Hip-hop/rap, a bit of country. I also enjoy Bethoveen from time to time.

Yea, I could probably add buffalo Springfield, of any other band that neil young has been in.

I don't like the pop country too much, but the ones you mentioned, add johnny cash and willie nelson for me.

Really anything, from rap to rock to classical. My most frequent picks are Texas music though, like Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Pat Green, Cory Morrow, and Charlie Robison.

i second pug my fav stations are 98.9woco and i think its 92.7 but i cound be wrong i listen to country most of the time, well, most of my life has been country

I have a 3 way tie for bands. Bob Dylan, The Greatful Dead, and Wilco.

Favorite songs, albums by them: Dylan- Tangled up in Blue on the Blood on the Tracks album, The Greatful dea, Jack Straw and favorite album of theirs is Europe '72, And Wilco, probably Mountain Bed, or Via Chicago, and my fav album by them is Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.

Feel free to only mention one, or mention as many as you wish.

Maybe we will learn some new favorites.
