I'm involved with our local theater. We put on five mainstage productions a year, plus theater for children, plus workshops, so that keeps me hoppin.

I also hunt, mainly waterfowl. And I write, hoping to make that more than a hobby at some point.

It's not fair to tease us with the mention of an embarrassing hobby and not tell us what it is.

Reading
Walking
Messing around with photography
Cooking
Movies (I don't watch much TV otherwise)

I also like to redecorate, really just rearrange things but it's fun to me.

I'd love to find a craft that a) I'd be somewhat successful at and b) isn't too expensive.

Ooh, Theresa, take up knitting (or crochet, whichever you have an available "instructor" for). It can be incredibly cheap (my tip - buy cheap sweaters made of fairly large yarn at thrift shops and take them apart) other than the fixed needle cost, and it's dead useful. With crochet it's a little easier to "take with you" everywhere, although I'm a knitter myself and still take stuff with me to the movies, on the train, airplanes (wooden and plastic needles are allowed on), lectures, all sorts of places where you might need the mind and the ears but not the hands. And once you can cast on and off, knit, and purl, you can do basically anything - everything else in knitting is just slight variations on those four things, and mostly just the last two.
