I've never even heard of it but for that site. Makes you wonder. Although i still DO NOT agree with dying. The bit of information about Betta dyeing came from the fact that many Bettas are dyed with stripes along their backs - much like painted glassfish. These stripes are of varying gaudy, fluorescent colors, and fade with time, all of which are characteristics of dyeing. Luckily, I have only seen 2 shipments of these Bettas, and that was about 2 years ago. Since Bettas are already beautiful without dyeing, they seem to be less of a "hot item" once dyed - no difference in sales is really experienced.

Whoever did it would not have been getting the fish supplies to do it a 2nd time. How very odd.
