Description: | It often looks like cabbage leaf and comes in colors of Brown, Cream and Tan. |
Environment: | It id classified as a soft coral and needs space. If it feels threatened it will wage a chemical battle with the other corals. |
Hardiness: | The care level of this coral is rated as easy and it is a good starter coral for the beginner. |

Feeding: | Cabbage Leather Corals contain the symbiotic algae zooxanthellae and receive the majority of their nutritional needs from the light driven process of photosynthesis. They can also be supplemented with phytoplankton and brine. |
Supplements: | Iodine, Strontium and Trace Elements are needed but can be obtained from frequent PWC`s. |
Position: | They are better placed at the top to recieve good amont of lighting. |

Comments: | As mentioned above this is a very hardy coral and excellent for the beginner. I do not target feed mine as it gets what it needs from the lighting and water column. |
