Care: | Almost any flake, pellet, frozen, freeze-dried, or small live food is accepted. Provide a tank that has open areas for foraging as well as densely planted areas for security. Rounded or very fine gravel/sand is needed to help prevent barbel erosion. This fish, along with all other armored catfish, is very sensitive to aquarium salt and should not be kept in an aquarium containing it. |
