Care: | One of the reputed "anorexic" plecos in that new specimens tend to starve themselves. Therefore, when being introduced to a new aquarium, particularly aggressively feeding tankmates should be seperated from this fish until it begins a regime of regular feeding. Food is best administered at night. Feed with copious amounts of sinking algae tablets, boiled peas and zuccini. Some bogwood should be placed in the tank for roughage. Hiding places made from large pieces of hollow driftwood are essential. |
