Gender: Males have white tips on the dorsal, anal, and pelvic fins.
Breeding: Difficult to breed. Females lay relatively few eggs per spawn. Increasing the number of Green Fire tetras will greatly increase the number of eggs produced. Remove the parents after spawning occurs.
Comments: This fish, although hardy, can be difficult to acclimate to a tank. Do not rush acclimation.
