Gender: | Male Rosy Tetras have elongated black dorsal fins and a "hook" on the anal fin. Females have much shorter dorsal fins with an orangish-white stripe on the top. Females also have hooks on the anal fin, but they are less noticable. |
Breeding: | Easy to breed. Use soft water. The eggs are laid on finely leaved plants and hatch after 24 hours. Feed the fry with ground flakes. |
