Care: Sifts the sand in the tank through it's mouth/gills, eating bits of uneaten food, and small creatures in the sand. Feeds from the bottom of the tank, may eat brine shrimp that fall near it. Also eat small sinking pelets, should be fed frequently Requires lots of hiding places, it tends to burrow under medium to large sized rocks, can move most of the tank's sand in a day.
