Diet: Ominvore; Ominvore
Care: Should be fed 3 times daily, some may accept flake food, live/frozen brine shrimp, however this must be checked before purchasing a cleaner wrasse. Most will pick off parasites from larger fish. Should be kept with a large number of community fish, larger fish are preferable to provide parasites for it to feed on.
Likes to have caves/tunnels to dart around, and sand to burry itself in. Makes a layer of mucas over it's body as it sleeps to protect itself. Can be difficult to keep if it does not

Comments: If it eats flake foods and brine shrimp, it can be an easy fish to keep, however, it can clean some fish agressively, so make sure you have several large fish for it to clean (not just one, otherwise it can harass them too much).
Adults work in pairs to setup cleaning stations, Juveniles cleaner wrasse are territorial and work individually along reef walls.
