Care: | Shrimp (mysid, grass, etc.), small live feeders, snails, worms, beef heart. It helps to have established invertebrates in the tank. sand substrate is essential as this fish burrows into the sand at night. They also appreciate rock structures, caves, hiding places etc. Acclimate slowly and only buy stock which has been in the shop for at least 14 days. There is a high mortality rate for newly acquired specimens. |
