Echinodorus rubin

Lighting: | Will look and grow best under high lighting, but can do well in as little as two watts per gallon of fluorescent lighting. |
Propagation: | Will flower if the plant finds the surface of the tank. Runners also form under very satisfactory conditions. |
Comments: | Like most Echinodorus, the Rubin sword will outgrow or dominate most hobbyist tank sizes, but can be worth it as they are very stunning solitary specimen or as a centerpiece in a large heavily planted tank. |
