| Old Text: | Not a hard fish to care for, if proper requirements met. This fish gets rather large, so a large tank is required. This fish is carniverous, so live foods are best, though some may take pieces of dead foods. Will not eat prepared foods such as flake and pellets. In the wild, they are most active between dusk and dawn, and will prey on resting fishes. The markings of large black dots are different for most all of the fishes.
