Well this thread has a few questions i've been trying to figure out. I plan on having a heavily planted 7 gallon mini bow full of endlers. I need advice for a setup though like what kind of filter would be the best choice, i get 2wpg so what would be the best plants to go with, and are there any brands of heaters that are relatively small and 50 watts? I was thinking maybe a whisper internal filter, but i was wondering if the intake slots were to large as i do not want to suck up my endler fry in the filter. I want to setup this tank soon so if anyone could help me here thanks.

You might want to try a sponge filter. They're easy to take care of, they filter the water quite well, they don't suck big stuff, and they're dirt cheap (my entire sponge filter setup was like $15). They're the norm for fry tanks because they won't suck up yer fry

I think the internal whisper filter would suck up your fry. Take Poisonwaffels advice and get a sponge filter.

I have the five gallon minibow which came with an internal filter... Tetra brand, I believe. With three or four speed adjustments, it doesn't even phase the betta that currently makes it his home, nor did the guppy fry that occupied it before have any troubles getting away with it set at the lowest setting.
