Everybody just take a big chill pill - the purpose of the thread was to elicit multiple responses solely with regard to people's experiences in dealing with replacing fish that they no longer want - sorry if people took it the wrong way or thought I was actually being serious - I had my first tank at age 8 and multiple tanks through my teens - an ice storm left us without electricity for 4 days when I was 17 and that was the end of the fish - recently I started up again and now have a 45g and a 55g - the 45 is stocked with 3 beautiful large angels and a uaru and a large school of corys - the 55g is done cycling and now is the time for stocking - they are beautiful creatures and a most relaxing and enjoyable hobby for me and my family - later -

I see, forgive us if we're a bit high-strung, we like our pets. Perhaps next time, you could put a laughing smily or a jk at the end just to show us that you're not serious.

You also might look into a local aquarium society in your area. Contact them and see if some of the members would want them.

I agree with Lindy. Some people should just relax. He is probably just joking and besides how many fish get killed for us too eat? Lots.

...And never flush fish down the toilet! It was stated before that it could bring unnative species into places they shouldnt be .

edit: inkodinkomalinko.... nice one about deuce bigalo
, The sequel comes out today

Not many people actually read through entire thread before posting do they?

The guy was joking about the flushing and milkshake thing. Sure its a subject none of us really want to think about but maybe instead of continuing with the yelling about cruelty maybe we should attack about his bad sense of humour.. (joking )

Now go read the thread again silly people.

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Seems you have opened a can of worms....

No wish-ga NO worms should never be put in cans. My mistake. Beans - Yes. Sketty - Yes. But never worms into cans. Never. I have learned my lesson./:'

I agree with cup, PETA has good intentions, but some of their acts are simply sickening to me...

If you don't want a fish do NOT kill it. The only reason for killing a fish would be if its death was iminent with no way of preventing it.

"someone call peta "

Peta consists of a bunch of whiny punks. Don't get me wrong, there are real issues developing inside the peta-dome, but emough of their actions are preposterous to the point where they have made a name for themselves through ridicule.
