Had a feeling there was an all-blue morph of stuartgranti in existence, but the trouble is, since the lamented passing of Dr Ethelwynn Trewavas in 2002 or thereabouts (she was still working on these fishes right up to the end, and she was 93 years old!) the taxonomic mess that they present is going to need someone special to sort out. Trewavas was doing a sterling job, but now the question remains who will pick up the baton ... perhaps someone could twist Sven Kullander's arm? Aulonocara species need someone good to dive in and make sure that the fishes don't end up becoming littered with meaningless trade names ... |

Well, I figured it out, I think, but I have to thank you for even giving me the idea that this is an option. Thanks, Ingo |

I would never be brave enough to do something like that though. Maybe in time. . . I agree - nice camera work! "it's the neck, it creaks under the weight of too much heavy thinking." |

LITTLE_FISH ***** Little Fish ***** Master of Something Posts: 7303 Kudos: 1997 Votes: 670 Registered: 20-May-2005 | Last weekend I went to a small aquarium in New Jersey, Point Pleasant Beach called Jenkinson's Beach Aquarium. They have mostly salt water fish there and as such I will have only two shots to add to this thread, and one of them is not even a fish . You can check out the marine pictures in This Thread. Here is a piranha: Bite Me |
