Loaches work well, supposedly some gouramis eat snails, and in a pinch, your fingers will do! And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

It's real nice for killing plants and if you squirt it directly on a snail it might get a headache. Seriously though, the natural methods are best. I tried the Had-A-Snail once for some pest snails and all it did was kill the plants in that tank... the snails survived it.
