Photos of my 45lt Cardinal & shrimp tank | |
keithgh *Ultimate Fish Guru* Posts: 6371 Kudos: 6918 Votes: 1542 Registered: 26-Apr-2003 | Its about time I posted a few photos. The eyes have settled down and I can see the camera screen a little clearer. This is a mix of photos of my 45lt Cardinal Tetra and Cherry Red Shrimp tank. I have made another small alteration I have built a small natural rock wall from the front bay view corner up to the highest point about 2/3rds back. In some of the photos the front is bare and others the Crypt Nevilli finally arrived from Darwin after a very long wait for the plants to grow on. You will note it looks like a different crypt but it is the same plant. It is just that the plants started out in totally different grow conditions. The new leaves are looking the same as the Crypts behind them. As you can see the shrimps love their cooked peas which they get several times a week. The tall crypt came with some Val I received years ago It all started from one small plant. There are well over twenty tall crypts now. The only use Seachem liquid fertilizers, plus their Fert Tabs. That is Cindy my Blue/Chinchilla Tortershell guard cat she sits there while I am on the computer which is only Cms away. The lighting was (just replaced) Sera Tropical I think & Sera plant light both 15W. I would have used the same but Sera not sold in my area at all. I also use my small 4200k 22W desk lamp It also has a magnifier glass in the center of the circular tube light. This photo is shocking reflections it was taken about 1mt back to show you the tank light and desk lamp.
