H-Dub Fingerling Posts: 41 Kudos: 19 Registered: 04-Jun-2008 | well I finally purchased some true freshwater shrimp and not ghosts (not really fresh in my opinion since they need brackish to reproduce) I got 3 red cherrys and 3 crystal reds I was thinking about going back and getting 3 blueberrys for my bettas 10g.. but at 6.99 a pop they are a bit too expensive for my liking.. Im actually hoping the ones I have might breed so I can add them to more tanks! |

I'm surprised at the crystal reds not being out of budget if the blueberries are, you can't get CRS here for under $20. 10 months ago, they were still at $80 per shrimp! Thank goodness they reproduce so quickly. be careful with bettas and shrimp, some view them as chew toys. |
