What would be an okay type of snail, that I could control the population of, to go into a community tank and/or possibly a cichlid tank?

I would like info, links and types. Thank you fishes!!

10G- 6 Zebra Danios, 1 Upside Down Catfish
20G- 1 Goldfish
72G(maybe95)- Need Stock suggestions

A waterhouse snail would be ok...that is if you can find them in your area.
We got one for our 180 gallon and it reproduced in there not long after we got it, now we have about 50 baby snails that have taken to climbing the front glass and only the front glass every night while it is dark, but they dissappear during the day time, hiding amongst the gravel and plants. I have never seen it damage any living plants.

Those 'waterhouse' look much like the common pond snails to me..

I think you want one like a mystery snail (apples are a type of mystery) because they need a mate to reproduce. Otherwise you may get overrun. Hit the "search" link above, on this page, and enter "snail" and you will get lots and lots of stories.

Why thank you guys Nope, I don't want to be overrun by snails. I want 1 and 1 only unless I was like addicted to them then that would be different lol
