how can i feed my snail? | |
ztb23 Hobbyist Posts: 118 Kudos: 137 Votes: 0 Registered: 13-Jan-2014 | i have an apple snail in my 1.5 gal hex tank with a betta. the tank does not have any algae growth. can i feed the snail by dropping flake food for him to eat off the bottom or do i need to give him algae wafers? how can i encourage a small amount of algae growth so that he can be more self sustaining? |

If you opt for the peas, after blanching, you take them, one at a time and "pop" the meat out of the pea. Discard the skin and drop the meat in the tank.
