I went to Wally World tonight and was only planning on getting some stuff for my new 10 gal, when I looked over at the Betta End Cap (like I always do) And there was only one cup there. It was a female Betta. She's TINY!

I have never seen a Betta as small as her! She's a little smaller than half an inch I would say. I think she's going to be red...but she really doesn't have that much color...

While I was taking her to the checkout, this popped into my head:

"I shall name [her] Squishy. And [she] shall
be mine. [She] will be my Squishy"

So I named her Squishy! ^_^

*Edit* I forgot to really say this in the actual message--but this is the first female Betta I have ever kept**

Have fun with your new female betta. It's fun watching their fins develop. Give her a good home and she'll love you forever.

Nice find. I've been looking for a nice girl for a while but they seem to be really rare around here. My area really isn't known for good quality bettas. Good luck with Squishy.

Thanks everyone!! Squishy has settled right in and seems really happy

I have this silk plant that has round, flat leaves and they are layered, almost like steps. She loves to lounge on them.

She's so great!
