If anyone feeds the above food to their bettas, how much do you feed?

I know that on the container it says to only feed 4-6 pellets twice daily. But the pellets are TINY ( like, 0.5 millimetres across!) and although my betta Elijah is not underfed, after meals he always looks hopefully up at the water's surface.

I feed him 5 pellets at each meal. Is this enough? I know one of the golden rules of fishkeeping is not to overfeed, but I feel sorry for the poor little guy. People say that the stomach of a fish is the size of its' eye, but 10 of those pellets is not even half as big as his eye!

um, looks like well over 15....but i feed once a day.

I guess if you were feeding 2-3 times a day, 15 would be enough.

was Elijah the fussy one?
have you tried the addition of frozen foods to his diet? they seem to go down well.

I find that the newer HBH Betta Bits are a bit bigger--almost like pellets roughly the same size as the Hikari ones. So I usually feed 6-8 pieces a day.

i use to feed them that but idk y i stopped. but they are so small so i would give a 6.
