	Im excited!!!
zebra Fish Master Posts: 1671 Kudos: 291 Votes: 37 Registered: 08-Oct-2001	Yesterday I got a beautiful male betta!!! I wish I could post a picture of him, but i dont have a digital camera. His body is white, and sometimes in the light I can see a hint of pink, and his fins are GORGEOUS. They are white with green in them. I have never seen one like him. I got him at walmart. Me and my sister were looking at all of the bettas and my sister said, look at this one. When I looked at him for the first time he was flaring, I was like Oh thats the one!!! When I looked him over, he looked very healthy, no fin rot, no tears in his fins or anything. When I got him home I put him in his new fish bowl, and he is even prettier than when i saw him at walmart. He has such personality too. I just think he is a picky eater. this morning I put some betta bites in there, and he didnt eat them, he just looked at them and then went back to swimming around. Hopefully he will get use to the food . But he is a very pretty boy! anyone got any good names? -lets just say, it was love at first sight -kristin ~!!I lOve LiFe!!~

Try to snatch a friends digi for some piccies...sometimes it's hard to suggest names w/o seeing a picture, no matter what the description. Veiltail I'm assuming? Anyway, nice find. Good luck with him, don't forget weekly WC's and dechlor. Try several types of food, flake and pellet, and if you still can't get him to eat, give him live. -Formerly known as the Ferretfish

MegTheFish Banned Posts: 167 Votes: 1 Registered: 03-Aug-2004	Somtimes they just need to adjust to their new home untill they decide to eat. I've had a few betta's that wouldn't eat for a week...then suddenly they would. Good luck!

It would be awesome to breed him, but I dont have a female right now and i dont have the time. but i am hoping to try to breed him someday!!
