I thought this was a good site showing how females behave.

The good side. Yes I had 8 females in a 17 gal and they got on fine. A bit of a nip here and there. But what this thread was about is warning people what happens when they don't get on. We all know what happens when they do get on Happy Fishys, thats what.
Pervention is the best medicine.
We are not telling people not to do it, but be carefull when putting them together.
As people like Theresa_M can tell you what happens when two fishys disagree. Have a look at her thread in "my 2 new female bettas."

I think it's a good article just to let people know what could possibly happen and to be careful. Most tend to think female bettas=compatability when that isn't always true.

I've also have females together..up to ten in a 125 gal with one male betta. Depends on their personality.
