I think that it would be fine to keep a betta in that tank. If I'm correct thats about 12 US gallons??? That is more than enough room for a lone betta.
HTH,

I wish I was your betta, hahaha. Male bettas don't do well with others for the most part they are happy living by them self. I think when you see the sad little bettas at the pet stores in little cups they are dreaming of Swimming in a 12 gallon tank. SO what ever fish you get will be very lucky. If you use a Filter make sure it dose not move the water around too much bettas don't like too much moveing water. :88)

Thank you snow that bit of information has helped me a lot. You see I have a betta in a tank with mollies, platys, guppies and tetras at the moment and he is not very happy so I was thinking of setting up my hospital tank which holds around 7 to 10uk gallons just for him but I was not sure if he would be happy all alone. The flow of water would be a lot less in that tank as it is only a small rena filter where as the one he is in at the moment is a fluval 3+ and its a bit fast for him I think may be that's why he is so sad. Poor boy I will get the tank sorted for him ASP. Thanks a lot.
