Anyone ever keep these? I was wondering about them because my LFS occasionally carries them.

They are quite shy and will retire to the corners of the tank if put with boisterous fish. Keep the tank heavily planted with lots of retreats for them. They can also be quite challenging to keep due to their water quality requirements.

I have P. anjunganensis. They don't eat flake well and need some peat to have soft water with pH 6,5 or under to be truly happy and colorfull. Otherwise they are easy and surprisingly hardy fishes. Oh, and no hyperactive fast tank mates like said earlier.

I don't think so, they prefer worm like foods to shrimps and are quite small mouthed.
