Are you running a heater? A chill can do that.

Bad news!

A few minutes ago when i turned the light on of the tank, i couldn't find any kids on the surface, and a lot of them where in the bottom of the tank, i don't know what happend, water was fine, they where eating fine, i read something like this could happen, but i don't have any symptoms of deasese. go figure.

I'll just have to keep trying.

Yea, I took that into account after I posted the message. There are just as many fry on the ground as there are around the styrofoam cup.

Thanks Zebra! They are 3 weeks old today!

Congrats wHeEzO!!

Wait till they are free swimming before you take out the father, they still meed to be attended by him, till they can swim horizontally, you have to keep a close eye on this, since when they start doing this, they become dad's food.

They must've took so long because of the temperature of your tank, good thing they are born now!

UPDATE!

Kids are doing great getting bigger and fatter!! i started them on fine crushed flakes and so far they seem to be loving it because a few hours later i can't see a piece on the surface or bottom of the tank. I'm so expecting to see them grow more and show colors!!

Still about 100 tiny DT to be!
