I was thinking about breeding mine if I can find a suitable female, but they are hard to come buy around here. Most places don't even carry males, let alone females.

fishyhelper288 Fish Guru Posts: 2161 Kudos: 1951 Votes: 137 Registered: 29-Feb-2004	ww, first bettas are always exciting, i got my first betta 2 years ago and have been through probly 100, meaning, i bred and sold, or bought and sold, or bought and died the most i have ever had at one time was...i think over 30, but now my numbers are much smaller, only have 23 "bettas are like fish tanks, hard to have just one and not feel guilty)

bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004	i never really had problems finding females, but recently my importer is only getting small females so finding breeder sized female is becoming hard, but i dont breed anymore, just remember it is one thing to take care of one betta, let alone the fry and breeding pairs.
