I'm happy to say that it's been about a month now and I'm seeing regrowth on the pelvic and anal fins. The problem is that his tail is still badly scarred. Will it ever grow back or is it possible he is "scarred for life"? |

We finally kicked it, but the regrowing fin is very delicate... Everytime it starts growing back and looking good, some of it will melt away. I'm so peeved and despairing that it will ever grow back fully. The growth that gradually gained color again (the new growth was clear) doesn't melt away, but the clear growth is very delicate... ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |
