There are several color morphs, varying shades of blue and a red one. A dwarf gourami would be fine with your stocking. EDIT: I Just saw the other part of your post...If it were me, I would just get one. Many pet stores only sell males, and two males can get very territorial. So, be safe and get one. damien3 Small Fry Posts: 9 Kudos: 8 Votes: 0 Registered: 21-Jul-2004	most dwarf gouramis are very docile (mine was scared of a brine shrimp) and so are more likely to get beaten up on. As long as your fish would be ok with the gourami it is most likely that a gourami would be ok with your fish. However, every fish has its own personality and you can never know for sure. Also, I have heard that it is ok to put two males together and they really prefer to be in pairs over living by themselves.
