Hi there well my bettas did spawn the fry are 6 days old they are getting bigger now and are eatting first bites only. Im so excited because everytime I have a brood they die before day 2 so I have hope for these little guys about 300 in a 10 gal any how the male is back to his 1 gal since friday and this morning I noticesd a fry in with him I thought I got him to stip them all out but this one is a sneaky hitch hiker:%) I have been observing him all day every now and then dad will grab him hold him for a min or two then spit him towards the top his belly has looked very full all day not sure if hes getting something from dads mouth??? he is the same size as the others and since it would be difficult to try an fish him out Im going to leave him in with dad. hes already been in there 4 days and hasnt gotten eatten yet so Im thinking this is a pretty faithful father and hope he will stay that way Ill keep you guys posted if you want.
