I know this is an odd question because of the temp differences but would there be any agression problems between a female betta and WCMMs?

I'm having the worst time with my girls...maybe it's just the individuals I have but they're tearing each other up, not in one tank but two. I'm out of small tanks.

I have a small group of WCMMs in a tank that runs approx 76-77 I realize from reading that it's a bit high for them, it's unheated and they've lived in that tank for quite some time. Can I add one of my girls to the tank and have some peace?

How' your girl doing? So now the other 2 are at each other too? I hope that you get the answers that you need. That's why I have an extra 1 gal. jar all step up and ready for an emergency. Sorry, no help here w/ your question, but GL.

We started treating our male the first dose yesterday.

Take Care,

It hasn't been pretty here

My fish order arrived yesterday afternoon, I got the other fish taken care of and waited to deal with the new females last. I had cleaned the tank, rearranged and added some new plants, fed the fish already in there. Turned out the light put in the new girls.

I could see right away it wasn't going well, the green female (new) was being on terribly. I waited a bit thinking maybe they'd settle down but no luck so I took her out.

The other new female ended up being a red/green mix (I bought her as a 'regular' betta, kind of a pot-luck purchase). The first two started picking on her. I thought she might do ok with the other new girl so I put them together. She starts up against that one

Sorry, this is getting long...original two are in the 10g where they started. New green girl is in a 5g with my tiny pink female; they're getting along fine. New red is with the white clouds and that doesn't seem to be a problem. And my other girl is in the bowl on my computer desk.

These females have come from 3 different stores; maybe I'm just having bad luck.

Hope your male does well with the treatment.

i think the long fin white clouds would have a problem but not the short finned ones.

I've had female bettas in community tanks before, and haven't had many problems. I would think they would be fine together.
