I have a couple options for them, but I want to make sure they and the other fish will get along. option 1-29g, which has platies, an angel, a paradise fish, bottom feeders option 2-30g with black phantoms, an angel, a sparkling gourami, non-breeding krib pair ( ![]() option 3-Endler's breeding tank, my big concern would be the female eating fry Any input on which two options are best would be appreciated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

I personally wouldn't put a betta male or female with a angel in the tank. Angels just tend to be very territorial but you might have nicer fish than I do. Option 1 I foresee problems with the paradise fish, as in him messing with your girls. Option 2, you might run into the same problem with the gourami. Option 3, might be your best choice. So what if your girls eat the smaller of the fry. It will be a good sour of "live" food for your girls, and how many can they actually eat. If it troubles you that much you can prob keep their munching to a minimum by making sure they are well fed. |

Haven't had Angels much..but if they are at all aggressive would be afraid they'd hurt your bettas. Plus, I wouldn't put them with Kribs, either. The sparkling gourami should be fine though aren't those very non aggressive? I'd agree with the last option of those fish are very peaceful. |

It might be that I have good-tempered fish, which is true. Anyways, if the 5 gallon is working for you, why take it down? |
