Recently my gold gouramis became less active. I noticed it after i bought two guppies and a male platy(i have gouramis, platys and a pleco). None of the new fish bother the gold gouramis. One of the gouramis usually sits around in the skull and comes up for air and food. The other one concerns me more, because all it does is lay around near the skull in the corner, every couple of minutes it comes up for air. I haven't seen it eat in 3 days (and all the food is gone by the time i stop looking). The one that hides in the skull used to chase the other one around, now they get along. Also the bully gourami is the blue gourami now, and he just chases the pearl gourami.
What is wrong with my gold gouramis?

How big is the tank? Just to be safe, what are the water parameters?

Gold gouramis are just a color morph of the blue gourami, which can be aggressive. The bully could be harrasing them. Sometimes too many gouramis in a tank do not fair well at all.

try to keep gouramies seperate. most gouramies are bullies much like the moonbeam gouramie. they just do better by themselves.
