A lot of VT females have extended rays, but they aren't *really* CTs. Males can look similar as juvies. Also, sometimes with CT fish, if they aren't of the best tail type breeding (often on new colours and new tail types), the webbing keeps growing and they end up looking like a delta by the time they are 6-9 months old.
