	tail biting

pugperson Fish Addict Posts: 877 Kudos: 953 Votes: 293 Registered: 16-May-2003	Unfortunately you can't put an elizabethan collar on a betta like you can a dog or cat to keep them from scratching, biting, or worrying a healing wound. Wish I could help with some advice. Any signs of parasites or disease?

I have 1 that's responded to added entertainment (in the form of a suspended fish ornament which he attacks) but i'm at a loss with my other current problem child Just make sure you keep his water clean & add some melafix to prevent infection & promote re-growth
