I found the body of one of my two gold gouramis this morning. I think it died of fear, because i think it got it's fins nibbled on and then it would just try to hide and stay out of the anonymous nibbler's way, so it wouldn't eat. I don't think it was disease or water conditions. The water conditions are ok

Sorry for your loss

I'd put my money on you "anonymous nibbler" being your other Gold Gourami. They're a colour variation on the Blue Gourami, who are known for not being particularly nice to each other.

Sorry about that. Were they definately a pair or possibly two males? (Males have longer dorsals) What other fish do you have?

Sorry to here that. I've had two of my Golds die due to stress after getting beat up. They had both been put in seperate tanks and they still died, one jumped out the other I put down after a week. Steve
