Actually, you can do either.

I usually leave them in the tank with the parents, but you usually have a higher survival rate if you raise them in their own tank. If you've got a lot of plants/decor/hiding places in your main tank, you should be fine to leave them in there, otherwise move them.

And if your molly has had 3 babies, she's probably either not done yet, or is done and the rest of them got eaten. Expect about 20-30 fry

Good luck with the babies

Yes, livebearer fry can be fed finely crushed flakes.

Make sure that the water is kept clean. You don't want all your fry dying because of an ammonia spike.

The rest of the fry should come out in the next couple days.

you could also try the Hikari brand fry powder type fry food. i used it and it was very good and the fry grew astonishingly fast, but now im lazy and dont feel like going to the lfs so i just crush up a high protein flake food and it works quite well actually.

If you want to protect the fry you can buy a small fry net and keep them there for a while. As a temporary measure keep them in a large net.
As far as feeding just break up your normal flake food very fine.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

that is true.but what do you pan to do when your aunt and others that you are giving them to doesnt want anymore or they start having fry of their own?hopefully the lfs will tak ethem back as feeders.also if your moms dad started that aquarium thing she has probably seen a fish get eaten by another fish,so why is she so ill about it.its a part of life, and part of the food chain.
