	Baby Java Fern??
mughal113 Big Fish Posts: 343 Kudos: 160 Votes: 64 Registered: 16-Jun-2006	Hi, Many small new plants have grown at the tips of java fern (Windelov (sp.)) leaves. They have also started growing roots now. Should I detach them from the mother plant? How large should they be before being removed to survive alone? Thanks.

Just tie them to some drift wood or a rock and generally they would be fine. I would not remove them while tiny, just because that makes them more difficult to handle. I do generally let nature take its course, though, and they do detach on their own. Good luck.
