Banana Plant Size | |
lifeofcrimeguy Enthusiast Posts: 230 Kudos: 265 Registered: 12-Jan-2004 | Im looking at submitting a profile for the banana plant. my problem however is that the book i have (Aquarium plants manual, Ines Scheurmann) seens to disagree with my experience on several things. one of which is size. the book says 6 inches, IME, the plant when submerged in a tropical tank will immediately grow the 2 feet required for the leaves to float on the surface. this also makes the question of lighting (WPG) somewhat irrelevent as, if the leaves are on the surface, there is no water extinction to worry about. I just wanted to get a feel for what others might have to say? |

If you have to input something, make it tall, and light I'd say low to high. Care level is pretty darn easy. Critical Fertilator: The Micromanager of Macronutrients |
