Angustafolia? If so, then it is a low light plant, but I haven't heard of an Echinodorus Angustafolia. If it is a sword plant, most swords (echinodorus) are medium to high light plants. Angustifolius, they had plenty at the lfs from Tropica. http://www.tropica.dk has it listed aswell. The light requirement on thier site is low-very high. They can get over a foot tall depending on conditions (good light). Augustifolia in plants normally refers to a variety with very narrow leaves. This will get as big as most other swords just that the leaves are much narrower and grass like. Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability. |

The number is 067B on their site & it's South American. Does anybody has one?. http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

By their profile, it does appear that they can be grown in low light conditions. They do look quite a bit like tenellus from pictures and it seems they can be grown as short if under the right conditions. Critical Fertilator: The Micromanager of Macronutrients |
